T-Mobile and 3 UK Network Projects completed by Ericsson

The largest wireless phone network developer in the contemporary world, Ericsson AB has claimed that it has completed merging as well as upgrading networks that served the customers of both T-Mobile and 3 in the United Kingdom.

It is understood that the finished network holds over 12,000 sites offering mobile broadband coverage.

This particular project that had begun running on a contract from February 2009 had resulted in reducing the number of antenna sites from eighteen thousand.

It is also known that provision of services to the system holder – Mobile Broadband Network Ltd – would be carried out by the Stockholm-based wireless network maker for another three years.

Mobile Broadband Network Ltd is a joint venture between Everything Everywhere – it runs the operations of Deutsche Telekom’s T-Mobile and France Telecom’s Orange in the United Kingdom – and 3 UK owned by Hutchison Whampoa Ltd.
